Se han resuelto las votaciones del Premio Liderazgo Joven Rafael del Pino 2009 y el ganador ha resultado ser:

Jesús, abulense de 38 años, destapó su pulsión como emprendedor con la fundación, en el año 2000, de idealista.com, empresa que sigue presidiendo hoy día. Jean Claude Rodriguez-Ferrera es fundador y director de las Comunidades Autofinanciadas (Self-Financed Communities) y fellow de Ashoka Internacional, la mayor organización internacional de emprendedores sociales.
Jean Claude Rodriguez-Ferrera es el impulsor de las pequeñas Comunidades Autofinanciadas (CAF) entre los inmigrantes con pocos recursos para dar respuesta a sus necesidades puntuales de financiación. La idea surge inicialmente en Latinoamerica; CAF tiene como objetivo extenderlos entre las comunidades de inmigrantes españoles.
Las CAF son pequeños grupos de individuos que llevan a cabo sus propios programas de ahorros y préstamos. Además de dar acceso a crédito, las CAF promueven el ahorro a través de la inversión que realizan, ya que para formar parte del grupo los miembros adquieren acciones que sirven para determinar su capacidad de crédito. Asimismo las CAF proporcionan una red informal de contactos, ofertas de trabajo y dan acceso a una serie de servicios que Self-Managed Comunities propone a los grupos. Las CAF también trabajan con empresas privadas para ayudarlas a diseñar y adaptar productos y servicios específicos para este colectivo. Las CAF han obtenido en los últimos años una rentabilidad de hasta el 16%.
Hasta la fecha, Jean Claude Rodriguez-Ferrera y su equipo han impulsado la creación de 23 CAFs en Cataluña, 2 en Madrid y 10 en Senegal. El reto es ahora la expansión del modelo por Europa.
Jean Claude Rodriguez-Ferrera fue elegido en 2007 el mejor joven emprendedor creativo del mundo, al proclamarse ganador del premio Creative Young Entrepreneur Award (CYEA) organizado por la Junior Chamber International, conjuntamente con el FDC (Flanders District of Creativity). Entre 1998 y 2002 vivió en Guatemala, donde fue fundador y director del proyecto de comercialización de artesanías con mujeres indígenas de Guatemala “Tesoros Mayas” (premio al mejor proyecto latinoamericano de apoyo a las comunidades indígenas).
Es profesor en la Universidad Ramon Llull de Barcelona y en la Universidad Politécnica de Catalunya. Ha impartido conferencias en Alemania, Austria, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Italia, Mexico, Panamá, Portugal, Puerto Rico, El Salvador, Sri Lanka y Venezuela.
Es autor del libro “Economía Mundial y Desarrollo”.
