En octubre de 2005 Matías Irigoyen Testa (becario 2001) obtiene, por concurso público de oposición, una plaza de catedrático de derecho civil en el Departamento de Derecho, Universidad Nacional del Sur, Bahía Blanca (Prov. de Buenos Aires, Argentina).
Matías ha concursado por la plaza mencionada a sus 32 años, siendo el catedrático más joven de la citada universidad.
