La asociación de antiguos alumnos de London Business School en España y la Asociación de becarios de la Fundación Rafael del Pino organizaron el 22 de Mayo un almuerzo-coloquio con D. Javier Pérez Dolset, emprendedor en serie de empresas como Proein (distribución de videojuegos), Pyro Studios (producción de videojuegos), La Netro-Zed (entretenimiento móviles/Internet) e Ilion (largometrajes animados por ordenador).

Javier Perez Dolset, de 37 años, fundador, Presidente y Consejero Delegado de LaNetro Zed, es un empresario con una amplia experiencia en el sector de los productos y servicios basados en nuevas tecnologías.
Licenciado en Económicas por la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid y en Empresariales Europeas por la Universidad Humberside del Reino Unido.
En 1992 se hace cargo junto con su hermano Ignacio de la Dirección General de Proein, empresa dedicada a la distribución de videojuegos. Un año más tarde ambos hermanos ponen en marcha, asociados con Telefónica, un proyecto de contenidos y acceso a Internet: TeleLine, ISP pionero en España y embrión de Terra. Durante su etapa en TeleLine, Javier Pérez desempeña funciones de consejero y director general hasta 1996. Ese mismo año, y tras la venta a Teléfonica del 50% de su participación en TeleLine, ambos hermanos constituyen Pyro Studios y LaNetro.
Pyro Studios es actualmente la principal empresa de creación de videojuegos en España, tanto la saga de estrategia “Commandos”, como “Praetorians” e “Imperial Glory” se distribuyen en más de 50 países y han obtenido reconocimiento en todo el mundo.
Por su parte, LaNetro comenzó su andadura en 1996 ofreciendo contenidos de ocio y entretenimiento para soportes interactivos en cualquier dispositivo de acceso a Internet. En 2002, dadas las amplias oportunidades que surgían en el ámbito de los móviles, decidió concentrar sus esfuerzos en los contenidos de valor añadido para móviles (MVAS en sus siglas en inglés). Dos años después, en septiembre de 2004, LaNetro adquirió Zed, empresa pionera del sector, a la operadora nórdica TeliaSonera y pasó a denominarse LaNetro Zed manteniendo la marca Zed para sus productos y servicios para móviles.
En 2007 LaNetro Zed lanza la primera plataforma del mundo que integra servicios de comunidad en móviles y web. En febrero del mismo año adquiere una participación mayoritaria (53%) en la empresa británica Monstermob, y se convierte en el líder del sector de los contenidos para móviles en términos de facturación y presencia geográfica.
Paralelamente, en el año 2002 Javier e Ignacio emprenden una nueva aventura empresarial y fundan Ilion Studios, un estudio de largometrajes de animación digital cuya primera película se estrenará en el 2008 y contará con un presupuesto próximo a los 50 millones de dólares.
