Ricardo Junco de Miguel

Ricardo was born in Burgos in 1980. In 2003 he received a degree in Business Administration from the University of Barcelona, ranking among the top one percent of his class. During his last year of college, Ricardo was granted an Erasmus scholarship to pursue a year on exchange at the University of Utrecht (the Netherlands), where he received a double degree in Business and Logistics. After graduation, Ricardo was granted membership in the ICEX scholarship program (Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade). As part of this three-year program, Ricardo pursued a Masters in International Business Management, ranking third in his class, worked as market analyst at the Economic and Trade Office of Spain in New York, supporting Spanish companies in their internationalization efforts, and served as an associate expert at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, managing a portfolio of projects focused on cultural industries in emerging markets. After this, Ricardo worked for Deloitte Consulting in Madrid and at Morgan Stanley as an investment adviser. He is currently pursuing an MBA at London Business School, where he is the president of the Spanish Club. In 2009, Ricardo was granted a Rafael del Pino Foundation scholarship to cover his studies for the 2009-2010 academic year. He speaks English and French.
