Pedro Espín Fernández de Córdoba

Born in Madrid in 1981, Pedro graduates a Master of Sciences in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering by the Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICAI) in Madrid, and L’Ecole des Hautes Etudes Industrielles in Lille, France. After graduating he is selected to join the HILTI International Professional Development Program, moving to Oklahoma, where he broadens his studies in Marketing at the University of Tulsa and joins HILTI´s USA headquarters as Business Analyst. He receives the Award of Excellence from the Martin Hilti Foundation for his performance during the program. Pedro collaborates with the University of Tulsa to teach basic Spanish to the medical staff of the Saint Francis Hospital, so that they could care for the growing number of non-English speakers in Oklahoma. He returns to Madrid and joins Deloitte Consulting, focusing in the Energy and Telecommunications sectors. By the end of 2006 he joins the Strategic Team of CEMEX Spain, becoming the youngest Project Manager in the company. Pedro ignites a partnership with the NPO TechnoServe to launch Emprende Hoy, aimed to leverage entrepreneurs in deprived areas of Mexico. In 2008 Pedro is admitted to Kellogg and awarded a scholarship by the Rafael del Pino Foundation. He speaks Spanish, English and French.
