María Luisa Albillos Fernández

Born in Valladolid in 1971, where she graduates in
Law in 1994. She spends the 1992-1993 academic year in Liege (Belgium) sponsored by the Erasmus program. She usually travels during the summer abroad in order to practice different languages. During these summers, she works in Banco Santander in Paris. At the end of the undergraduate studies, she receives a scholarship from the “Empresa Pública” foundation and works for 9 months in the legal department of CLH, S.A. After this experience starts working first for the University of Burgos and then for the
University of Valladolid where she started her PhD studies sponsored by the State Education Department. Attends classes in Paris University and the London School of Economics (LSE), obtaining her Phd in June 2000. Afterwards she receives the “Rafael del Pino” scholarship to attend a master on economy in Boston University (USA). Currently she is working as scientist and professor in the Economic Department of the University of Valladolid.
