Estefanía Sánchez Rodríguez

(La Coruna, 30 September 1978). After being awarded Premio Extraordinario de Bachillerato (academic distinction), she pursues her studies at ICADE (E-3) and HEC Universite de Lausanne, obtaining a double degree in Law and Business Administration in 2002. After college, she works as legal counsel for mergers and acquisitions in the Finance Department of the law firm Clifford Chance and at Citigroup. In 2005 she starts preparing for the qualification of Tecnico Comercial y Economista del Estado, which she obtains in 2006. She becomes Head of Service in the General Directorate for Trade and Investment, representing Spain in different export credit groups before the EU and the OECD. In 2007 she is granted a Fulbright Scholarship to study an MBA at MIT Sloan. She is currently studying her second year with the help of a Fundacion Rafael del Pino Scholarship. She speaks English, French and German.
