Cristina Nestares (granted 2004) celebrates the first anniversary as General Director of Admiral Group’s division in Spain. Admiral Group entered into the Spanish automobile insurance market of direct sales (phone and internet) with the brand Balumba.es, direct sales. Balumba’s strategy is to offer good quality at very competitive prices and to ease the contracting process. It covers drivers of any demographics, starting at age 18.
Balumba has introduced an innovative concept. The client designs the policy “à la carte”, deciding which coverages to add to or drop from their insurance policy among those which are not mandatory.
