Asier Mariscal Arlabán

Born in Pamplona in 1977. In 2000 he completes the Degree in Business first of his class at the Universidad Publica de Navarra. In 2001 he starts the BA in Economics and obtains the prize to the best GPA. The next year, with a Séneca Award he continues studying economics at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. He graduates in economics first of his class from Universidad Pública de Navarra in 2002.
During 2002-2003 he studies the Master in Science at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra graduating with honors while being teaching assistant of Macroecomics and Mathematics.
Since 2003 he is completing his PhD in Economics at The University of Chicago with a concentration in macroeconomics and international economics. During this period, he is teaching assistant to James Heckman and Robert Lucas, Nobel prize winners in 2000 and 1995, respectively. During the summer of 2004, he was consultant to the World Bank.
