On Tuesday January 12th, the Rafael del Pino Alumni Association was pleased to organize a lunch-colloquium with Mr. Didac Lee (see complete profile below) with the support of the Rafael del Pino Foundation. Mr. Lee is a serial entrepreneur who started his first business at 21 and is currently the CEO and founder of Inspirit Group, a conglomerate of IT companies. During the lunch, Mr. Lee shared with the alumni his experience as entrepreneur, facing everyday challenges and risks with enthusiasm and hard work. Mr. Lee explained how failure can teach as much as success and foster creativity. For Mr. Lee, entrepreneurship is an attitude that must be applied to every aspect of life.

Scholars´ dinner in New York

On Friday December 5th a group of Rafael del Pino alumni got together in La Boqueria Restaurant of New York. It was a great opportunity to know each other better and share their academic and professional experiences. They also took the opportunity to comment on current news and the current social and economic environment.

On Monday November 30th, the Rafael del Pino Alumni Association, with the support of the Rafael del Pino Foundation, was pleased to organize a dinner-colloquium with Mr Josep Pous, founder of Prous Institute and Prous Science (see complete profile below). Founded in 1958, Prous Science is a global leader in IT solutions for the life-science industry. Physicians and scientists worldwide use Prous Science products and services in the development of new drugs based on knowledge, safety and efficiency, improving global medical practices.
During the event, the Rafael del Pino Alumni had the opportunity to share with Dr. Prous his views on the current status of the biotech industry in Spain as well as the prospects for the biomedicine sector. Several experts of the pharmaceutical and biotech industries as well as MIT, Stanford, LBS, Wharton, Columbia and Chicago alumni attended the event.
